The Delaware County Black Caucus is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to serve as an information and advocacy vehicle to advance the interests and improve the overall quality of life for African American citizens of Delaware County, Pennsylvania.

Given the global pandemic we are all experiencing, we are even more dedicated to our work and ensuring residents of Delaware County have access and information to resources that will help them manage through this crisis.

Below, you will find detailed information to assist you with small business funding, food and nutrition, and activities and information for children and youth. We are grateful to the essential workers and first responders who are on the front lines continuing to work to ensure our safety, medical care, transportation, access to food, childcare, and other services that are being provided to residents throughout Delaware County. The Delaware County Chamber of Commerce has information on their website regarding financial assistance programs for small businesses in Delco, as well as where you can order take out food to support local restaurants. You can find that information here.

The Small Business Administration has information and applications available for businesses who may need funding for Paycheck Protection, Disaster Relief Funding and more. You can find detailed information about funding relief programs here.


Delaware County has several free food programs and distribution centers available to Delco Residents. You can find a complete list here.

William Penn School District is distributing Grab N Go Lunches for families in need Monday through Friday, 11 AM to 1 PM. Please find details below regarding locations lunches are being distributed.


Childcare Services in Delaware County is being provided for essential workers. Delco has provided a map of centers that have received a waiver to remain open during this global crisis. You can find that information here.

Tutors are available to help your child(ren). If you or your child is in need of a tutor to assist him/her with school work, the Delaware County Library is providing free tutoring everyday from 2 PM - 11 PM. You can find that information here.
